No caffeine

Chai is an ancient Indian drink that has been drunk for centuries. Østerlandsk 1889 Copenhagen has made a  chai tea blend based on the African Rooibos, why it is without caffeine. This spicy drink consists of the best and well-known chai spices such as cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, cloves and black pepper. In addition, we have added an organic Rooibos tea, so the drink is just ready to brew and enjoy.

Rooibos is the popular national drink in South Africa. It contains no caffeine or tannic acid, is aromatic and rich in vitamin C as well as iron and potassium. The Rooibos plant has green leaves, but during the fermentation, where only spring water and the strong African sun are used, the leaves turn red. Rooibos is also known as red tea and comes from shrubs in South Africa.

Taste

It tastes sweet and slightly spicy. It is 100% free of caffeine and contains numerous healthy substances.

Brewing

To get the most optimal cup of Rooibos chai tea, use boiling water and allow to soak for 6-8 minutes.
