Østerlandsk 1889 Copenhagen was the first to introduce the Danes to exciting herbal teas such as Cool Mint Tea, which quickly became one of our most popular teas.

Tiger Mint Tea is an upgraded and organic version of our most sought after herbal tea, Cool Mint. It is made according to Østerlandsk 1889 Copenhagen' own secret recipe. It is a pure herbal tea composed of only the very best organic ingredients such as lemongrass, peppermint, anise, cornflower as well as apple and licorice root.

Taste

The taste is fresh and sweet with a long and sweet aftertaste of licorice and apple. If you have a sweet tooth, a cup of Tiger Mint tea is fine as a substitute for sweet things.

As the Tiger Mint consists entirely of herbs and fruits, and thus does not contain tea leaves from the tea bush Camellia Sinensis, the tea does not contain caffeine.

Brewing

Tiger Mint tea is a pure herbal tea and infusion time therefore is almost infinitely, the taste only becomes stronger and the different flavor notes appear more clearly the longer infusion time. The most optimal infusion time is 8-10 min. and 100 degrees hot water.

Tiger Mint tea is also ideal to use as iced tea on a hot summer day.
