Not at all like a classic black Christmas tea, but instead a symphony of exciting flavors that gets your mind on cozy evenings by the fireplace in dark winter nighs.

Brewing

Green Christmas tea is made from green tea, and in order to obtain the most optimal taste and maintain the good properties of the tea as well as vitamins and antioxidants, the infusion time of 3 min. using 80 degrees of hot water are observed.

Green tea

Green Christmas tea with is one of the Østerlandsk 1889 Copenhagen's own popular blends. Green tea is what you call "the original" tea, the natural product that, after roasting and drying, is heat treated so that no tea leaves are oxidized. It has an effect on the color of the tea which becomes significantly lighter, and also on the taste which becomes significantly lighter compared to the black tea.
Green tea has a limited content of caffeine and tannins.
