When characterizing flavored black tea, it is black tea with aroma or other flavors added to the basic black tea. Aromatised tea, unlike non-flavored tea, has the characteristics of the pure black tea or tea blends of different types of black tea, flavorings, herbs, spices, fruits or dried leaves from e.g. Fruit bushes. Thus, flavored black tea tastes like black tea in its basic form, but aroma flavor and fragrance notes have been added to the tea to make it taste different and more than just black tea.
